We want to make sure that everyone who’s invited to complete the Census Test is included. There are a range of help and support options available that may assist you to complete your form.

Getting someone to help you
You can ask a trusted person to help you fill out your Census Test form. This could be a family member, a carer or a friend.

Complete a paper form
If you want to complete the Census Test using a paper form, you can request one. A Reply Paid envelope will be provided for you to return your completed form. Information on where to find a post box in your local area can be found on the Australia Post website.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
We’re working closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Census Test areas in and around Katherine to make sure everyone can take part and be counted.

The online form for the Census Test has been built to be user-friendly and inclusive.
It includes keyboard navigation to support assistive technologies. It will also filter questions so that only items relevant to you are shown.
The Census website and online Census Test form are designed to comply with the Australian Government Digital Service Standard and aim to meet the latest WCAG Guidelines which describe how to make web content more usable and accessible for everyone.

Complete the form at your own pace
You don’t have to complete the Census Test form all at once. You can save and return to the Census Test form at a more convenient time after you've created a password.
Use the 16-digit Census number and the password you created to return to the last saved section of your form. Remember to set a password recovery option in case you forget your password.
No internet connection
If you would like to complete the Census Test online and you don't have an internet connection, there are places where you can access a free connection such as:
- public libraries
- shopping centres
- city centres.
Census Pop-up Hubs will be open in selected areas for the Census Test.
